Kristin Skinner

Kristin's multi-channel experience spans disciplines including front-end development, experience design, product management, and design management.

Kristin has worked in design for over 12 years. Her experience spans disciplines from interaction design, front-end web development, design management, and program management for global consumer and enterprise experiences. For the past 7 years, she has built and led teams of interaction, visual, motion, industrial, and brand designers, along with researchers, program managers, and front-end developers to design and deliver multi-channel experiences and programs. During that time, she’s worked both in-house and as a consultant on mobile devices, retail, insurance, financial services, CRM, media analytics, enterprise services management, and data management for Microsoft, including Premium Mobile Experiences (now Windows Mobile) and System Center, SK Telecom, Disney, USAA, Aol, Aggregate Knowledge, USC, Rail Europe, Autodesk, and many others. Currently she is the Managing Director, PM, where she leads a team of Program Managers to help deliver a portfolio of multidisciplinary programs for our clients.

Before joining Adaptive Path, Kristin was a Design Manager focused on experience strategy at Microsoft’s Pioneer Studios, created to incubate new business opportunities focused on emerging consumer experiences in gaming, entertainment, and media. She co-managed a design team of 20 Interaction, Visual, and Motion designers focused on strategy, vision, and prototyping for devices and services, and managed a new experience design process for Mobile.

Prior to Microsoft, Kristin was a UX Designer at Aggregate Knowledge, a UX Manager at BlueRoads Corporation, and a UX Designer and UX Manager at BenefitPoint.
