Nelly Wollenberg

Nelly Wollenberg

Nelly's chief goal is to make sure our event attendees have a great experience. She also puts out fires and solves problems like nobody's business.

Nelly was hired as Adaptive Path’s Studio Coordinator, but joined our events team a few months later once her full awesomeness became apparent. Before coming to work at Adaptive Path, she served as Administrative Staff Assistant and PAC Administrator for the California Judges Association (and hid her tattoos and piercings). Before that, Nelly was Member Services Coordinator for Zipcar in San Francisco.

She honed her event planning skills as a Sacred City Derby Girls team member planning bouts and fundraisers and selling sponsorships when she wasn’t happily hip-checking opponents. She also helped keep the league running for two years as SCDG board member.

Nelly was born and raised in Los Angeles, but her baseball-shaped heart has always belonged to the San Francisco Giants. She has impressed her co-workers with stories of family friend Charles Bukowski reading to her when she was a kid (let that scene sink in). When not tending to our event community, Nelly can be found cheering on the Giants, acting as a Safe Space Advocate for the LGBT community, and watching scientific documentaries.
